Learning and Change go together.
For trainings, the desired behavior change is key. Training has to be more than time away from the office and high marks on an evaluation form. Training has to result in new skills and knowledge that are put to use in the real world. Grace Partners trainings acheive that goal. For retreats, off-sites, and facilitated meetings, we pay equal attention to design and "face time". The design of the session is done in close consultation with the client to meet specific needs. Our presentations and facilitation are participative and flexible. We design trainings and organizational interventions that involve the participants as much as and as early in the process as possible.
Honoring the participants’ experience and values is key to what we do.In our training and facilitation work we bring together expertise and experience with both Organization Development and Accelerated Learning. This blending creates vibrant, engaging experiences for our clients. Clients get customized learning designs that will meet their specific needs.

"Thank you again for all of your help with kicking off our new Shared Governance Day! We received a lot of positive feedback, particularly regarding setting “River Rules” and council member expectations. At the closing session last evening, I asked the Chairs & Co-Chairs how many of their councils began using the Meeting Canoe and River Rules and I would say that nearly everyone said that they had!".

"I wanted to tell you how well organized the session was on Friday. I thought you did an excellent job of including everyone's ideas and thoughts and keeping us all on task. I appreciate the materials. Your style is so great. You do a wonderful job of honoring the participants experience and values. After all the years I've been doing this job, it is easy to become jaded about training. I did, however, enjoy my afternoon and learned a few things too."

" When I have been able to transform a group - and here I mean all of the members of a group, myself included - into a community of learners, then the excitement has been almost beyond belief. To free curiosity, to permit individuals to go charging off in new directions dictated by their own interests; to unleash the sense of inquiry; to open everything to questioning and exploration; to recognize that everything is in the process of change - here is an experience I can never forget.
